Possibly my favorite track from Hunter Hayes. Super catchy, and with a great feature as well. Can’t go wrong.

Carly Rae Jepsen – Run Away With Me
My favorite track off her really solid album “Emotion.” It’s super poppy in all the right ways. Have fun trying to only play this once.
Bill Withers – Lovely Day
Classic. You may not recognize the name, but once you hear it, you’ll wonder where it had been all your life.
St. Lucia – Elevate
A lot of remixes of this song, but I still love the original the most. Not an easy fit for a genre, and that’s what I like about it. Pop? Indie Dance? Rock? You decide.
Kid Cudi – Up, Up And Away
A fun little ditty by Kid Cudi. Not sure how I missed it initially, but I’m glad I found it now. A summer vibe for sure.
Calvin Harris – Pray To God feat. HAIM
I really don’t think I need to tell you who Calvin Harris or even relative newcomer HAIM is. I will say that this collaboration is the most impressive track off Calvin Harris’s new album. The verses represent a guitar driven HAIM while the chorus has a distinct Calvin Harris piano and synth pop/dance arrangement. With each artist representing their own “sound” the song blends the two together perfectly. A crafty bit of songwriting on this one. Enjoy.
Damien Jurado – Ohio (Filous Remix)
A wonderfully atmospheric and chill remix from this Austrian producer. A guitar and vocal driven track, but with a subtle driving beat and beautifully filled out electronica background. Very pleasing indeed.
Johnnyswim – Home
A really fun and happy pop/rock tune to make you feel better about the worsening weather. Enjoy! (Grab it here)
Sia – Chandelier (Sara Bareilles Live Cover)
My friend Zia recommended I take a listen to the live cover of Sia’s “Chandelier” by Sara Bareilles. I’ve always been a fan of her music, but she knocks this one clear out of the park. Despite listening to her for so long, for some reason I never really knew Sara Bareilles had such a fantastic voice. Chills watching this one, seriously.
Penguin Prison – Calling Out
A really cool new track from NYC based Penguin Prison (Chris Glover). Known mostly for his remixes, I think he’s got some serious credentials in the original track department as well. I guess I’d describe the music as indie-dance or maybe electro-pop. Anyway that you want to describe it, listen more with your own copy here.
